Adele has lost so much weight a TV host didn't recognize her

Adele reportedly looked "unrecognizable" when she attended the Oscars after-party following the 92nd Academy Awards, which aired on Sunday night.

The Vanity Fair party was certainly a star-studded occasion, however, it appeared that Adele made quite the entrance given that Polish television presenter, Kinga Rusin, took to Instagram following the event to state her disbelief at the Hello singer's weight loss.

Rusin shared an image of her and Adele at the party, and in the caption - which is written in Polish - she spoke about how Adele has "probably" dropped "30kg" and how she "honestly didn't recognize her".

A source told People that Adele recently adopted a healthier lifestyle, following her split from husband, Simon Konecki, last year.

"It's easy to just focus on her physical transformation, but this is really about something bigger," the insider said. "She got to the point where she didn't feel great. She knew she had to change something, because she wants to be the healthiest mom possible."

"Her whole focus during the weight loss journey has really how been all about how she can be healthier and how can she treat her body better.

It was never about losing weight. Her weight loss happened because she has cut down drinking and is eating more real food. But she now loves her physical transformation too. She is more confident, dresses differently and she just seems happier overall."

In fact, Adele was spotted with Harry Styles in Anguilla over Christmas, when she met with a fan, and shared details about her weight loss journey.

19-year-old Lexi Larson, who hails from Massachusetts, almost didn't recognize Adele at first. But when she and her friends went to Blanchards Restaurant and Beach Shack, they were shocked to noticed former One Direction member, Harry Styles, at a table.

"A few minutes later, Adele came over and sat down next to me and my friend and was like, 'So what can I do for you girls?'" she told People.

"We were so excited. We were talking to her for a little while, and then she got Harry Styles to come over and sit with us also. We took a picture with Harry, and we talked to them for 15 minutes probably. They were more asking us questions. It was a really positive experience. It was really cool.

"She said she lost something like 100 pounds, and that it's such a crazy positive experience. She seemed so happy, and she looked amazing. She seemed really confident."
