The people love Keanu Reeves - and for good reason! He's been a heartthrob since the 1990s and today stars in popular action films like the John Wick trilogy. The public wants nothing more than to watch him fight as his long hair flows back and forth.
And he has a good heart too. Reeves has secretly donated significant amounts to children's hospitals and cancer research. And to show our appreciation, somebody has started a petition to make him Time's Person of the Year.
To capitalise on Keanu fever, Crystal Ro, a writer and illustrator at BuzzFeed, posted pictures of the actor as Disney princes on Instagram and BuzzFeed. Unsurprisingly, they instantly blew up. The artist reimagined Reeves as the ultimate love interests in Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, Snow White, The Princess and the Frog, Pocahontas, Mulan, and Beauty and the Beast.
He looks perfect as all the princes, from Prince Phillip to Naveen (though I would love to see him as the frog before his transformation). And he's got almost as much hair as the Beast and would for sure beat Gaston in any fight for Belle's love.
Crystal Ro's caption for the Instagram post is: "I drew Keanu as Disney Princes because it felt right." And oh boy, does it.
While Reeves may not really be a prince charming, there is talk about him joining the Marvel Universe:
"We talk to him for almost every film we make," said Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige "We talk to Keanu Reeves about. I don't know when, if, or ever he'll join the MCU, but we very much want to figure out the right way to do it."
Reeves confirms what we were all thinking about Speed co-star Sandra Bullock:
No matter where we see Reeves on the big screen next, we'll know he'll be great.
