Groom's mistress shows up to his wedding day dressed as bride

Your wedding day is supposed to be the best day of your life, or so society informs us. For one South African woman, however, this did not turn out to be the case.

A woman - who takes the saying, "hell hath no fury like a woman scorned" to the next level - decided to put on a wedding dress, and attend the nuptials of a man that she was reportedly seeing, while he was in the process of marrying someone else.

The clip, which was uploaded to Twitter, quickly went viral. It shows the wedding guests getting pretty rowdy, as well as a man - perhaps the best man - trying to calm down one of the guests. The bride and groom remain at the front of the hall, clearly hoping that the incredibly awkward situation will just disappear.

"Side chick rocked up at the wedding also wearing a wedding dress … groom trying to calm the situation," read the caption.

At a certain point, it seems as if a bridesmaid is trying to calm down the woman who has to be "the mistress" in the situation - although it doesn't appear to work very well.

The people of the internet, naturally, found the clip hilarious. "I hope every man that cheats, gets a side chick like this. Lmaoooo," wrote one Twitter user, while another added "How is the main chick still there patiently waiting for the wedding to continue? How is none of her friends and family shutting this down? Who the hell is cheering?"

"Yep, she didn't look surprised which indicates the main chick knew about the side chick," a third individual wrote, and "I wonder what lies he tried to feed his fiancé afterwards," another pondered.

How's that for a bit of karmic justice?
