Kim Kardashian shares nude photos to sell perfume, and the reactions are hilarious

There are a lot of ways to advertise your product: a catchy slogan, a viral video, product placement in a movie, or you could post nude photos of yourself on the Internet! It won't surprise you to learn that Kim Kardashian-West chose the latter. (Although it didn't work out so well when Colonel Sanders posted nude photos of himself to promote KFC).

Last November, Kim launched her KWW perfume line with a gardenia-inspired trio of scents. In February, she followed that up with three Valentine's Day-inspired "KIMOJI" Candy Hearts fragrances. Now she's launching a new scent called KKW Body, which is "inspired by her naked body." (Hey, scoff if you want, but her husband, Kanye West just tweeted he's releasing five albums in five weeks. He must be inspired by something.)

In an interview with the Business of Fashion, Kim said that the bottle for KKW Body will be shaped like her famous figure. When asked what the perfume smells like, she said, "The scent is so good, I’m so proud of it. It smells to me like what I would think golden smells like, even though that’s a color and something that’s just luminous." Um, okay? I don't know what that means, but it sounds intriguing.

On social media, Kim shared a couple racy, barely-blurred campaign images with links to her new perfume in the caption. Hey, you've got to get the word out somehow! The first photo shows the beauty mogul's upper half, in case you haven't seen it yet this week. The picture is decidedly Not Safe For Work, unless you're a lifeguard at a nude beach. Meanwhile, the second image showcases Kim's bottom....portion...pelvic. Oh, why dress this up? It's a photo of her vagina, guys. Or at least, as much as she can show on Twitter without breaking their rules on nudity.

On social media, some people scolded Kim for posting obscene photos, since she is a 37-year-old mother-of-three. Well, you might snicker at the idea of Kim posting nude photos to advertise her perfume, but we're all talking about it, aren't we? It's a Kardashian-Jenner world; we're just living in it.
