Guys, I'm only going to say this once: if you happen to be a conventionally beautiful person who is currently dating another conventionally beautiful person, please, for the sake of us painfully average folks, stop posting your ridiculously stunning #couplegoals pictures to Instagram. We get it, you look amazing. Now let me get back to my Netflix and microwave meal in peace.
Or, alternatively, take a leaf out of Miley Cyrus' and Liam Hemsworth's books and just post the most adorable content possible. Because that is something I enjoy seeing.
The couple, who first met way back in 2009, are reasonably public about their relationship, and often take to social media in order to share a goofy selfie or a snap of them with a cute dog or two. And, while most couples tend to churn out the same old twee content over and over again, Cyrus and Hemsworth (Cyworth? Hemrus? Liley?) have a special talent for keeping their stuff fresh.
Case in point: Hemsworth's talent for pranking his unsuspecting fiance.
Just yesterday, the younger brother of Thor posted a clip to his Insta story of himself jumping out from behind a wall and spooking Cyrus, causing her to say: "F**k you, I hate you, I'm going to cry." And, instead of comforting her or apologizing, the guy did what any good partner would do, and posted it on the internet for millions of people to see.
"She love [sic] when I do this," he captioned it.
But this wasn't the first time he's pulled such a stunt.
Just last week, the former Hannah Montannah star shared a clip of herself moving along to a song in the car while Hemsworth was driving. Everything seems to be pretty standard - Cyrus is playing up to the camera, Hemsworth has his eyes on the road - when, suddenly, the Hunger Games actor shouts, "Oh s**t!"
Once again, Cyrus freaks out, and ends up chucking her phone across the car in the process.
Meanwhile, in their offline lives, rumors have been circulating that the couple has already got married in secret after Hemsworth was spotted wearing a gold band on his finger - but nothing has been confirmed.
What's more, Cyrus stated last year that she wasn't planning on marriage any time soon.
"I'm 24. I hope I get to live a little bit more. I have too much living to do [before I get married]. Three years ago, if you'd asked me if I'd be here, this happy with this man, I'd have been stunned. I'm just riding this out. In some relationships, you lose yourself by being with someone else. Actually, it made me find myself more," she said. "I have no idea what the next three years will bring, but if it's possible to get even happier, I'll take it."
The pair originally dated and got engaged after meeting on the set of The Last Song nine years ago, but broke off their relationship shortly afterward in 2013. However, after rekindling their romance at the beginning of 2016, the couple have happily spent the last two years together.
