With only a couple of weeks to go until the royal wedding, everyone is buzzing to see the moment when Prince Harry and Meghan Markle finally tie the knot.
Well, almost everyone.
Throughout the course of Markle's engagement to the British royal, her own brother, Thomas Markle Jr., has expressed his disagreement with the pair's relationship. At the beginning of the year, he spoke up about how her involvement with Harry "has shone a spotlight on our family" and caused "a lot of stress because of all the attention" - but, as it turns out, that was just the beginning of his criticisms.
Now, the actress' 51-year-old half-brother has penned an entire letter to Markle's husband-to-be, in which he claims that she is "a jaded, shallow, conceited woman" who is not fit for marriage.
The letter, which begins cordially, "Dear Prince Harry", goes on to detail why Markle would apparently be a poor choice for the royal family.
"Its not to late, Meghan Markle is obviously not the right women for you," the first line reads.
"As more time passes to your royal wedding, it became very clear that this is the biggest mistake in royal wedding history.
"I'm confused why you don't see the real Meghan that the whole world now sees. Meghan's attempt to act the part of a princess like a below C average Hollywood actress is getting old.
"What kind of person starts out by using her own father until he's bankrupt, then forgets about him in Mexico leaving him broke, over mostly all her debts. And when it's time to pay him back she forgets her own father like she never knew him.
"My father will never recover financially from paying Meghan's way, nor emotionally from disavowing him, Meg is showing her true colors."
Thomas has claimed on various occasions that his sister has "forgotten her roots", and that becoming an actress changed her substantially. What's more, in an interview with the Daily Mirror last month, Markle's estranged sibling said: "Meg likes to portray herself as a humanitarian, a people's person and a charitable person but she is none of those things to her family."
He repeated these claims again in the letter, saying:
"It's very apparent that her tiny bit of Hollywood fame has gone to her head, changing her into a jaded, shallow, conceited woman, that will make a fool of you and the royal family heritage.
"Not to mention, to top it all off, she doesn't invite her own family and instead invites complete strangers to the wedding, 'who does that'. You and the royal family should put an end to this fake fairytale wedding before it to late.
"Her own father didn’t get an invite, whom should be walking her down the aisle.
"She forgets if it wasn’t for my father she would be busing tables and babysitting to pay her old debt off."
To finish up, Thomas implores his soon-to-be brother-in-law to reconsider his proposal.
"The whole world is watching Meg make bad decisions and choices, it’s not too late Harry.
"Meghan is still my sister. She is family. So whatever happens is up to her, whether she wants to forget knowing me or the rest of her family, family comes first.
"Also, you would think that a royal wedding would bring a torn family closer together, but I guess we're all distant family to Meg.
"Sincerely Tom Markle Jr"
All in all, it appears that Thomas is just a little sore about not being invited to the wedding - regardless of how many times he might say that he is "not bitter".
Plus, after reading such a coldhearted attack on Markle's character, it's easy to see why the former Suits star wouldn't want her brother in attendance.
Perhaps, if he'd been a little more supportive of his sister's career, charitable behavior, and relationship, she might have put him on the guest list after all.
