Cardi B and Offset hopped on the high-speed betrothal train back in September of 2017, and apparently inspired several others to follow suit.
Since then, Pete Davidson and Ariana Grande have gotten engaged and broken it off; Justin Bieber reportedly married Hailey Baldwin in November, and most recently, Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra wed in an elaborate ceremony earlier this month.
The Bodak Yellow singer announced her separation from her husband (and father to their baby daughter, Kulture) on December 2nd, taking to Instagram to explain that "things haven’t been working out between us for a long time."
It appears, however, that Offset isn't too pleased about this turn of events. Cardi B was in the middle of performing at the Rolling Loud Festival in Los Angeles on Saturday, when the rapper appeared on stage, equipped with flowers and cake, in an attempt to reconcile.

The incident at the Rolling Loud Festival was captured on video, and shows Cardi stunned as a wall of flowers reading "Take me back" was rolled onto the stage.
Moments later, Offset walked onstage, and it was clear that his ex was not happy with the gesture. Holding a microphone, Offset can be heard saying, "I'm sorry" and "I love you", as Cardi shakes her head and says something quietly to him.
Offset eventually exits into the wings, and his gifts were promptly removed from the stage.

Fans who attended the concert took to social media to clarify what happened. "[Cardi] kicked him out and 30 seconds after she came back with a big smile like a boss and killed this gig," wrote one social media user, while another corroborated "[Cardi] was so not feeling the gesture and had him and the set up removed!"

Last month, Cardi announced her split from Offset in an Instagram video.
"So everybody been bugging me and everything and you know I’ve been trying to work things out with my baby father for a hot minute now," the 26-year-old said.
"We are really good friends and we are really good business partners— you know he’s always somebody that I run to to talk to, and we got a lot of love for each other but things just haven’t been working out between us for a long time.
It’s nobody’s fault I guess we just grew out of love but we are not together anymore.
I don’t know it might take time to get a divorce and I’m going to always have a lot of love for him because he is my daughter’s father… And, yeah…"
Both her wedding and engagement rings appeared to have been taken off for the video.
The news came as a shock to fans, as the couple have put up a loved-up display since their nuptials, and the birth of their daughter, Kulture, back in July.
