Fast fashion retailer, Pretty Little Thing has been blasted by a outraged customer over their bikini sizing.
Lydia Ramsey took to Twitter to call out the brand. "Never buying a bikini from @OfficialPLT again, sizing is not right," she wrote in the caption to accompany a picture of the bikini from the website, and one of her wearing the item.
In the picture, the 20-year-old's breasts are visibly spilling out of the blue bikini top, despite her having ordered two sizes up from her usual size 12.
The description of the Cobalt Bandage Bikini Set reads, "Be a poolside princess in this hella cute beach party set. In a bandage cut out style its everything we're currently lovin'. Team with your fave sunnies and wear with confidence girl."
Lydia's tweet about the £25 bikini quickly went viral, with many expressing outrage at the company's sizing policy. "Happens to me every time and I even size up three sizes for bikini tops," wrote one social media user, while another sympathised "omg this is like that bikini I got."
"Dead your norks still manage to look decent tho cudos for that [sic]," a third added.
Pretty Little Thing have since responded to the incident, replying to Lydia's tweet: "Sorry to hear about this! Pop us a DM and we'll be able to look into it for you."
The brand's size guide recommends that customers "measure across the fullest part of the bust and across the shoulder blades," in order to get the best fit, but it seems that this did little to save Lydia from the serious sartorial mishap.
You get what you pay for, eh?
