Rihanna's reason for breaking up with her billionaire boyfriend has us in stitches

Rihanna has gone from strength to strength in recent years. Disregarding the nine Grammy awards that she's accumulated, the 30-year-old is hailed as a sartorial icon, who is expected to upstage the competition at red carpet events and prestigious award ceremonies, such as the annual Met Gala.

Certainly, between her upcoming role in the all-female Oceans Eight and her recent stab at entrepreneurship - Rihanna launched Fenty beauty last year, a makeup range which provides POC with the most diverse range of shades seen in a commercial venture - it's evident that the pop-star is one of the few artists who is successfully blurring the lines of what it means to be a celebrity in 2018.

But would Rihanna be considered to be such a purveyor of "cool" if her attitude to men wasn't in line with the dismissive nonchalance of social media-era feminism? Perhaps not. The Work singer has purportedly split from her billionaire boyfriend, and the people of the internet are all for her reasoning: simply put, she "gets tired of men sometimes."

According to a recent report, Rihanna has broken up with Saudi businessman Hassan Jameel.

MediaTakeout News has reported that the songstress called off her rumoured relationship with Jameel because she "gets tired of men sometimes". And while there is no way of telling if this is the real reason behind the break-up, I think we can all agree that it's pretty relatable.

An inside source told the publication that "Rihanna and him were together for a while", but that it was the 30-year-old who ended the relationship.

"It was a good relationship, but now it's over," the source said. "Of course Rihanna broke his heart. That's what she does: break[s] men's hearts. Rihanna just got tired of him. She gets tired of men sometimes."

Rumours that Rihanna was dating the Toyota heir started to circulate in June 2017, when the pair was spotted kissing in a pool in Spain. Shortly afterwards, they were seen on a date in Ibiza. Then, a source close to Rihanna claimed that they had already "been hooking up for a few months".

Although Rihanna never confirmed the relationship, she did hint at it in a recent interview with Vogue. "I used to feel guilty about taking personal time, but I also think I never met someone who was worth it before," she told the publication last month.

The songstress's father, however, was more forthcoming with information about their romance. "A friend sent me Facebook pictures of them kissing in the pool," Robert Fenty stated. "Whatever makes her happy. He’s very tall. She told me she had a new boyfriend about a month ago, but I didn’t know who he was."

Fenty also revealed that he had warned his daughter to stay away from men in show business - entertainers and athletes in particular.

Well, the next time you're searching for a reason to break up with someone, why not take some inspiration from Rihanna?
