Singer falls 10 feet off stage during concert for International Women's Day

Some people truly deserve a medal for the amount of dedication they show in their job.

I'm talking about the servers who go above and beyond to ensure diners are more than satisfied. The coffee shop baristas who happily take on all of the weekend shifts. And performers who mean every word of 'the show must go on'.

Last week, in fact, a singer dramatically plunged 10 feet off a stage during a concert for International Women's Day - only to continue singing from the orchestra pit.

Anastasia Vishnevskaya, 30, was in the middle of a performance when the incident occurred in Krasnoyarsk in southern Russia on Friday.

It appears Vishnevskaya was so into the song that she didn’t notice the front of the stage and fell straight into the orchestra pit as a result.

Check out the incredible moment Vishnevskaya continues performing after falling 10 feet off the stage:

Per The Sun, the 30-year-old had tried in vain to get back to her feet while singing '100 Hours of Happiness'.

So with the help of one of the musicians from the orchestra, Vishnevskaya was helped into a chair and the pit was raised so the audience could see her while she continued the song.

According to the publication, Vishnevskaya was taken to hospital following the performance, where she was told she had fractured her foot and sustained a great amount of bruising.

It turns out falling down during a performance is fairly common. When Post Malone fell during a concert, fans seemed concerned:

She has reportedly hit back against claims that the ordeal proved that she hadn't actually been singing live - but lipsyncing to a backing track.

Vishnevskaya insists, however, that the singing was live and according to The Sun, blames the backlash on envy and spitefulness.

The publication also reports that the concert presenter Roman Bogdanov praised the singer for finishing the song in spite of the circumstances, denying the fall was pre-planned.
