Some guy told Pink she looked 'so old' and she had the perfect response

Pink's kinda awesome, in case you didn't know already. When she made it to the cover of People's "Beautiful" Issue, the singer laughed about it with Ellen Degeneres. She said that she thinks one of her best attributes is her sense of humour, but also praised the state of society, which is starting to loosen its narrow and often unrealistic ideals of "beauty".

"I love the way things are changing and I love that our perception of beauty has completely been knocked on its head," she said on the show. "There's nothing wrong with beautiful, and there's nothing wrong with beautiful on the inside, beautiful on the outside, it's all different shades and sizes. It means whatever it means to you."

But while the 38-year-old is out smashing yet another world tour, while simultaneously raising her two adorable kids, it seems that she's still not immune to abuse from internet trolls. She recently hit back in the most glorious way to someone who kicked up a fuss about the fact that she was ageing.

For whatever reason, this dude thought it was unacceptable that Pink was giving away the fact that she was a real human being who actually ages over time, and decided to take to Twitter to complain about it. "Wow Pink looks so old that [she] should be named Purple instead," he wrote.

Yeah, good one.

While the best thing is just to ignore trolls who sling abuse like this lame ageist remark, Pink chose to respond. She fired back with another tweet and it's just perfect to be honest.

"You must be from LA. Well, there are a few people left in the world that choose to age naturally. And I’ve earned every f*ing minute of my 38 years," she wrote earnestly.

She asserted that she wasn't keen on doing what many of the rich and famous do to disguise signs of ageing, such as undergoing cosmetic procedures. But as if that wasn't enough, she turned the attention back to the original poster so he could gain a little perspective and think about his own self-worth before belittling someone else's.

“How you lookin’ though? Cause I never heard of ya ‘til you put my name in your mouth. I shall call you little purple troll," Pink added.

She decided to finish her tangent with a little more introspection about what it means to grow old.

"I am of the mindset that it’s a blessing to grow old," she wrote in another tweet. "That if your face has lines around your eyes and mouth it means you’ve laughed a lot. I pray I look older in 10 years, cause that will mean I’m alive."

Fans were all for Pink's comments about ageing, and responded with their own supportive tweets.

"Cant wait to see you when you’re 80," another hopeful fan tweeted. "And if you’re still doing aerial stunts, all the better." Pink replied to the tweet, assuring them: "You know I will! I’ll call it 'the wrinkles and rolls tour.'"

Someone else envisioned what a Pink concert would look like 40 years from now, and Pink found the GIF so funny she retweeted it herself.

Can you imagine?!
