Okay guys, it's been a couple days now. You've had enough time. We've got to talk about that scene of Game of Thrones.
In the midst of Dany and Jon's arguments over their rightful claims to the Iron Throne, Jaime Lannister's reunion with his brother Tyrion (as well as Bran Stark) and Tormund's uncomfortably long milk-drinking scene, Arya Stark finally had a moment of humanity, as she got it on with Gendry, the bastard of Robert Baratheon.
Now, after so much suffering for the Stark family's youngest daughter, people were delighted for her to have a moment of her own, and that's not just fans of Game of Thrones, either. Sophie Turner, who plays Arya's onscreen sister Sansa Stark, gave her amazing take on the scene, and you've got to see this, folks.
Taking to her Instagram story wearing a white robe and swirling a glass of red wine, Sophie Turner was an absolute mood in her reaction to the big scene on Game of Thrones.
That's before she even opened her mouth: when she did say something, it was a pretty X-rated praise of her co-star Maisie Williams (who of course, plays Arya Stark on Game of Thrones). Somehow, she even managed to make it Easter-themed.
"In honor of Easter, I guess Game of Thrones wanted to have a little storyline of a little Easter bunny hop, hop, hoppin’ into that p*ssaayyyyyy," Sophie Turner said to her Instagram followers, before taking a sip of her wine. "And that's the tea," she added, and it was a truly legendary moment.
Here's that Instagram response from Sophie Turner in all of its glory:
Twitter reacted accordingly. "why is no one on my tl talking about miss sophie referring to gendry as an easter bunny hop hop hopping into that P*SSAY?" demanded @maia419, and @theAntiBinge added: "Great, now I have no choice but to Stan her as Jean Grey."
Maisie Williams also opened up herself about that sex scene to Entertainment Weekly. "I got to the read-through and I’m reading the scene and thought, Oh, we’re actually going to do this. When do I shoot this? I need to go to the gym. A whole list of things," Williams said.
"At first, I thought it was a prank," she revealed when she was told about the scene, but says that everybody was really respectful of her during the filming of the steamy scene.
"In the beginning, everyone was really respectful. No one wants to make you feel uncomfortable which kind of makes you feel more uncomfortable, because no one wants to look at anything that they shouldn’t look at."
After all that drama in episode two, I can't wait for episode three of Game of Thrones' final season!
Here's the preview for the third episode:
Well, Sophie Turner, as we should all know by now, is a total boss. Is it just me, or do you want to see her react to all the episodes of Game of Thrones now in similar fashion?
