The 'world's most beautiful girl' shocks Instagram with her Ten Year Challenge

Although beauty is said to lie in the eye of the beholder, certain individuals are universally acknowledged to be superior beings. There are the veritable gazelles that are models, and of course, the perfectly contoured, highlighted and filtered creatures that are Instagram influencers.

Alternatively, there's always the model who was named the "most beautiful girl in the world" when she was just 10-years-old.

Thylane Blondeau, who is now 17, became a worldwide sensation after appearing on the cover of Vogue Enfants. Since then, she has gone onto work with esteemed designers, including Dolce & Gabbana, and has become a brand ambassador for L'Oreal Paris.

Yesterday, Blondeau took to Instagram to share her 10 Year Challenge, and naturally the people of the internet loved it.

"#10yearchallenge !!! And thanks for 2.9M !!! Ily guys so so much," the model captioned the snap, which at the time of writing has already garnered over 448,000 likes.

People were quick to declare it to be the best 10 Year Challenge they've seen so far. "Show me anyone who even comes close to her in this 10 year challenge thing," wrote one fan, while another corroborated "You look adorably cute 10 years ago, now you look completely beautiful."

"A beauty like you only comes once a generation," a third individual added.

Despite all the compliments, Blondeau, has managed to remain humble. Speaking to L'Officiel last year, the 17-year-old said that she doesn't understand why she was hailed "the most beautiful girl in the world".

"Firstly: I do not consider myself the most beautiful girl in the world! When I was little, people always told me. But I did not even understand what they meant. Because who says that? Who says I am the most beautiful?" she explained to the French fashion magazine.

"I can not do anything with it. I can not do anything about how I look. This is who I am. Fortunately, I have a number of lovely people around me with whom I am very close. In addition, I am very shy. You probably noticed that already."I am very normal, though! At least, I experience my life as normal. I live in southern France. And I have my friends here. Just like my peers," Blondeau continued. "I feel as old as them. But my friends sometimes point out that I lead a different life. But I do not feel that way. I also live at home, nice with my mother. You know, my mother is everything to me. I will never live alone! Never!"

The model also opened up about her relationship to Instagram, asserting "I love Instagram! I have many followers and I also think that I should offer them something. I have a private life and a public life, but they are completely mixed up. But I grew up with it. I do not know better! I’m only seventeen, right?"
