We only have four episodes left before Game of Thrones is officially over, and I'm sure I'm not the only one wondering how all the loose ends are going to be tied up.
Sunday's episode will chronicle the highly-anticipated Battle of Winterfell, and in the meantime, fans have been busy dissecting various theories on social media, some of which are pretty out there.
Case in point: this one about Missandei.
If you're not familiar, Missandei is Daenerys Targaryen's trusted advisor. The pair met after the Mother of Dragons journeyed to Astapor to purchase the Unsullied army. She quickly took a liking to Missandei - particularly her impressive knowledge of 19 languages, including High Valyrian.
In recent episodes, she's been involved romantically with Grey Worm, the commander of the Unsullied.
But, according to some fan theories, Missandei's mysterious past and command of languages could indicate that she's not who she seems, with some going as far as to claim that she may be one of the Faceless Men of Braavos - an order of assassins who can change their appearance as they please.
Believers of the theory say that Missandei may be working against Dany, and actively trying to disrupt her plans.
"Missandei told Davos where she was from when they met & Davos told her his travels took him there all the time and she didn't have an accent like someone from there," one Twitter user highlighted, while another corroborated "there are theories that Missandei is actually VERY old and a faceless man. Cos she is too wise for her years (in the book) and she knows too many language."
"Lannister army had all the drops on Dany last season. Missandei told Davos where she was from when they met & Davos told her his travels took him there all the time and she didn't have an accent like someone from there. That love story blinding yall. Missandei can't be trusted," stated a third.
Others have said that even if Missandei isn't a Faceless Man, she may betray Daenerys anyway: to save her lover, Grey Worm.
Reddit user, Jamesik, pointed out that Dany's prophecy said she would be betrayed for blood, gold, and love - the latter of which have already happened. If Missandei were to turn on Dany to save Grey Worm's life, that would arguably complete the prediction.

Care for another possible plot twist? Some people think that Daenerys could end up being a villain in the final season of the series.
Reddit user, nanoelite, took to the platform to explain the theory:
"Both the show and the book series seek to portray a fantasy setting in realistic terms, clearly displaying the grim aspects of medieval life, the brutality of warfare, and the grey morality of its characters. That's why I don't think that either the Night King (a supernatural entity with absolutely no characterization) or Cersei (a comically evil despot) will be the big bads. Both characters are too easy to root against, and having a clear conflict between good and evil doesn't seem in line with what we have seen from the first seven seasons."
The Redditor also pointed out that Daenerys is now a more compelling villain than Cersei because of her sheer manpower: she has two dragons, the support of the north and the armies of the Unsullied and Dothraki. Sure, Cersei may have the Golden Company, but does she have elephants? No.
Well, I can't wait for Sunday!
